About Commissioner Elizabeth Lucido

Elizabeth Lucido was first elected to the Macomb County Board of Commissioners in 2016 for the 2017-2018 term and she has since been re-elected to serve the 2019-20 term. She represents the 9th district covering Mt. Clemens and parts of Clinton Township and Macomb Township.

Commissioner Lucido has been a kindergarten teacher for over 21 years prior to joining the Board. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Teaching from Wayne State University and her Master's Degree in Educational Administration from Saginaw Valley State University. She previously served on the Macomb Community College Board of Trustees. 

Commissioner Lucido's main goals while on the Board are to promote cohesive county programs such as the Macomb County Family Resource Center in Mt. Clemens, to allocate more county funds for road repairs while working with the state legislature to get adequate funding for roads, and to expand education through head start programs and advanced skills training. She is the proud mother of three children.
